Abstract:

The author discusses a number of questions about the theory of John Greco, who distinguishes two types of testimonial knowledge: testimony as transmission of knowledge and as distributing of information. The author doubts that this difference is consistent and, therefore, useful for epistemology. He argues that John Greco’s theory needs some refinements without which it will be either trivial or erroneous.
